i've heard some songs by Black Lab before, circa '97 and then on some online radio stations, so when i got the cd Your Body Above Me i was expecting it to be pretty good. i was wrong.

it's holy-batman amazing. one song i particularly like is 'wash it away.'

it's got an incredible tune, but so sad... the rest of the songs are of just as good quality - x-ray, time ago, can't keep the rain, thin white lie, anything, ten million years, all the money in the world, sleeps with angels, gates of the country - i love them; it's very radio friendly, all have excellent tunes and a story to go along with them.

sorry for the promo, but these guys were just that good.
